The rules for using Xairod's app and website

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and USAFA Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom, operating the Xairod platform ("Xairod", "we", "us"). By creating an account, browsing listings, or using any part of Xairod's app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Xairod.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a Xairod account
• You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account
• You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit permission
• Xairod reserves the right to refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion for violation of these Terms

3. What Xairod Is — and Is Not

3.1 Verified Badges Explained

A "Verified" badge means Xairod has reviewed basic registration or identity documents provided by that business. It is NOT a guarantee of quality, legitimacy of every claim made by that business, or a guarantee that no dispute will ever arise. Always exercise your own judgement, especially before making any payment to any business or agency found through Xairod.

4. User Accounts & Conduct

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use Xairod only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent or defamatory content
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse any other user, business, or Xairod team member
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use Xairod to scam, defraud, or solicit money outside legitimate listed business transactions
• Scrape or extract Xairod's data for commercial purposes without written permission
• Attempt unauthorised access to any part of Xairod's systems or other accounts
• Upload malware, spam, or content violating others' intellectual property

4.2 Consequences of Violation

Violation may result in content removal, warning, suspension, or permanent termination, at Xairod's sole discretion, with or without prior notice for serious violations.

5. User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of your content but grant Xairod a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it on our platform and marketing
• You are solely responsible for content you post
• Xairod may remove content violating these Terms at our discretion
• Fake reviews, undisclosed paid reviews, or review manipulation of any kind is strictly prohibited

6. Business Listings

• Businesses may submit listings free of charge, subject to review and approval
• Xairod may reject, edit, or remove any listing that is inaccurate, fraudulent, or violates these Terms
• Paid plans provide enhanced visibility as described at time of purchase
• Businesses are solely responsible for the accuracy of their own listing information

• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before renewal
• Cancel anytime in Profile settings — takes effect at end of current billing period, no partial refund
• Founding partners get an 8-week free trial; billing begins automatically after unless cancelled
• Payments processed by Stripe, Paystack or Flutterwave — we never store full card details
• Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

9. Intellectual Property

The Xairod name, logo, app, website design, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of USAFA Ltd. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, USAFA Ltd and Xairod shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including any dispute, loss or harm arising from your interaction with any business, agency, landlord, or other user found through Xairod.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify USAFA Ltd, Xairod, and our officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your content, or your interaction with any other user or business through the platform.

13. Termination

• You may delete your account anytime from Profile settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, fraud, or harm to others
• Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, liability, indemnification) remain in effect after termination

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are first subject to 30 days good-faith negotiation, then mediation, then binding arbitration under LCIA rules, seated in London.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Xairod grows. Material changes are communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
